Goals

What fun is challenging yourself if you don't have something to work towards?  I thought a little section on the blog dedicated to my goals would be appropriate so here we go...


First off, none of these goals have end dates, so there is no pressure to get them done, it's just something that I would love to 'tick' off the weight-loss/lifestyle journey bucket list.  I find that having deadlines works against me because if, for whatever reason, I am not able to reach the goal by the set date, then I tend to give up without even trying!  I know this about myself and I think that is very important!

GOALS:

Weight Goals:
  1. Lose 10% or 26.5lbs - done, August 29th, 2016!!
  2. Lose 50lbs - done, November 20th, 2016!!
  3. One-derland
  4. Lose 80lbs (186.5lbs)

Fitness Goals:
  1. Join a gym - done, August 2nd, 2016!!
  2. Do a 30s wall sit without dying (not sure this is even possible)
  3. Walk 100,000 steps in a week
  4. Have muscle definition in both arms & legs
Other Goals:
  1. Get out of plus-sized clothes - done, Summer 2016!!
  2. Feel comfortable in a bathing suit

YAY!  That feels good to get something down on paper.  Once I complete these (and I will), I will check them off and add a date it was completed.  Also, more will be added, from time-to-time, as I have new goals to achieve!
